Local Area Info: Madge, Wisconsin

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 34.1 square miles (88.2 km²), of which, 32.0 square miles (82.8 km²) of it is land and 2.1 square miles (5.4 km²) of it (6.11%) is water.

As of the census of 2000, there were 454 people, 202 households, and 152 families residing in the town. The population density was 14.2 people per square mile (5.5/km²). There were 410 housing units at an average density of 12.8 per square mile (4.9/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 99.56% White, 0.22% Native American and 0.22% Asian. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.66% of the population.

There were 202 households out of which 16.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 70.3% were married couples living together, 3.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.3% were non-families. 19.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.24 and the average family size was 2.56.
